Bathroom Remodeling
The Project
This Longwood, Florida bathroom remodel reimagines the space as a refined retreat where timeless detailing meets contemporary comfort. Rich walnut cabinetry, luminous marble surfaces, warm brass fixtures, and sculptural lighting establish a sophisticated material palette, while expansive glazing and glass-block detailing introduce natural light and architectural character. Every element—from the custom vanity to the freestanding soaking tub—was thoughtfully composed to create a serene, elegant, and highly functional bathing experience.
Before
This primary bathroom is envisioned as a refined retreat that transforms its dated, enclosed character into a light-filled sanctuary. The existing curved architecture and generous windows provide a strong foundation for the redesign, while natural stone, warm wood tones, and elegant metal accents introduce a more timeless material language. A sculptural soaking tub, tailored vanity areas, and an elevated walk-in shower create a balanced composition—combining everyday functionality with a sense of quiet luxury and resort-inspired comfort.
How It Came Together
The design reimagines the primary bathroom as a serene, light-filled retreat, pairing a sculptural freestanding tub with a curved mosaic backdrop and expansive glazing. Marble-look surfaces, warm brass fixtures, and refined detailing create a timeless composition that balances architectural elegance with everyday comfort.
The existing structure was carefully opened up to prepare the space for its new architectural configuration. The curved enclosure was stripped to expose the underlying framing and plumbing, establishing a clear foundation for the revised layout, finishes, and fixtures.
The completed bathroom brings the vision to life through warm walnut cabinetry, marble surfaces, and refined brass accents. A sculptural freestanding tub, curved glass-block feature, and layered natural light create a timeless and inviting retreat with a sophisticated architectural character.
The Result
The renovation transforms the bathroom into a refined and cohesive retreat, balancing warm walnut cabinetry with luminous marble surfaces and aged brass detailing. Architectural curves, textured glass, and expansive windows introduce depth and natural light, while the freestanding tub becomes a sculptural focal point—bringing timeless elegance, warmth, and function into the space.
