The Project
This Sanford, Florida, addition delivers a luxurious primary suite centered around a spa-style walk-in shower with book-matched marble slab tile, a wood-slat accent wall, and matte black fixtures throughout. The space flows into a custom vanity area and an expansive walk-in closet with built-in shelving, drawers, and a dedicated dressing station—combining elevated design with everyday function.
Before
To deliver a true primary suite, the project required a full structural addition—new CMU block walls erected and tied into the existing roof structure, rough openings framed for fenestration, and plumbing and electrical rough-ins stubbed out ahead of finish work. Once enclosed and dried in, the space was built out into an elevated design: book-matched marble slab tile, a custom glass shower enclosure with dual rain heads, and a stained wood vanity with natural stone countertops bring the homeowners’ vision to life.
How It Came Together
The floor plan outlines a new bathroom and walk-in closet addition off the existing bedroom and den. The layout includes a walk-in shower, freestanding lavatory, and water closet, with new window openings and space-saving barn and pocket doors tying into the existing structure.
Site preparation routed new PEX plumbing lines to the footprint, poured a concrete slab, and laid out CMU block for the foundation walls using string lines for precise alignment.

The Result
The addition converted unused space into an elevated primary suite. An expansive custom walk-in closet with built-in millwork completes the addition—a cohesive retreat engineered for both craftsmanship and everyday function.
